Speedbox 1.3 Tuning Chip for Shimano EP8 eBikes. Brand new for summer 2022. This Speedbox 1.3 works all.

EBikes fitted with Shimano EP8, EP800, EP8RS motors. It's fitted to the motor in minutes giving riders an easy installation and true plug & ride experience. Please note: this only compatible with eBikes fitted the on/off switch (EW-SW300). (see image on the the listing). We have two options available to you.

Activated via the light button. If the lights are turned off, the SpeedBox is activated. The chip can be deactivated by turning on the lights. If you want to use the speedbox independently of the lights, do not connect the red wire during installation, tuning will be always activated. If you do not have lights on your e-bike, SpeedBox 1.3 will also be activated at all times.

Tuning: Premium option with Bluetooth, control the Speedbox via the app, set a new speed limit and see accurate ride data including speed/distance via the Speedbox app (available on apple & android). All Speedbox products are thoroughly tested and safe for your eBike. Removes the 25 kmh restriction. Completely undetectable, can be deactivated at anytime. Maintain accurate speed, distance & range in mph or kmh. Simple installation with original connectors, no programming required.

Installation is easy, you just need to remove the cover from the motor and attach the connectors. You will need a basic toolkit, some bikes may require a crank puller. Electric bikes equipped with tuning devices are not allowed to be used on public roads, cycling paths and public places.

Electric bikes equipped with tuning products can be used exclusively on private property and entirely at one's own risk. Under the EU's EN15194 regulation it is illegal to ride your eBike on public roads/cycle paths with a tuning device fitted.
